Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

We have LET it happen jpshakehead.gif by not voting against devil.gif "big government" or what some people call Socialism. Since FDR most taxes are basically designed to perform the "Robin Hood effect" that is take from the so called rich and give to the poor. angel.gif.gif I found out long ago that the more you give most people the more they expect. jpshakehead.gif Freebies kill incentive and foster inactivity.

All through school I was told that our country was a democracy with the teachers expounding on the merits of this form of government. Now I find that we are not a democracy jpshakehead.gif but a republic where the will of the people have little to do with what happens at the top. More and more our elected official do not vote the will of the people but instead vote along party lines which polarizes them into liberal and conservative camps. blink.gif

Let's face it, liberals are for big government. tu2.gif They want to be the national care givers from cradle to grave. All this care giving cost $ which can be obtained by adding another tax to fund the more than 1,000 social programs that have found their way into the American society. jpshakehead.gif I am not in favor of letting anyone starve to death but I am also not in favor of providing him all the benefits of life which enables him to sit on his butt and look for the mailman. Years ago, politicians were jailed when it was found that they had paid money for a person's vote. yeahthat.gif Nowdays they have found a way to buy votes legally by keeping the poor on the national take. bigeyes.gif.gif Once a social program is put it place all find it political sucide to take that program away.

Forget party, vote conservative tu2.gif or get ready for a new list of taxes.
