Are you a Democrat, a Republican, or a Redneck?

Here is a little test that will help you decide:

You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges at you.

You are carrying a Glock cal 40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

What do you do?

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor! Or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think? What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing!

I need to discuss with some friends over a latte and try to come to a consensus.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! Click ..

Daughter: 'Nice grouping, Daddy! Were those the Winchester Silver Tips or Hollow Points?'

Son: 'You got him, Pop! Can I shoot the next one?'

Wife: 'You are NOT taking that thing to the taxidermist'

I feel for the family of that poor boy...........above comment was for the post above and its IGNORANCE! This is one reason we need gun control, not gun reposession. NObody need a automatic weapon. From around here it only takes one shot to hunt game, not many I guess what you call real "REDNECKS" can shoot a little better than you guys. ..............and for the family I am sorry for your loss, and everyone who has had a family member killed on a ATV. Same thing you let childre n do something that is fun and you like to enjoy then a freak accident occurs and someone is badly injured or killed. ATV hurt more children then guns, but its statistics. ONCE AGAIN POST WAS NOT DIRECTED AT THAT FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King285,

I understand that your age or maturity might be getting the best of you here. But, you understand that this is a joke section right?

You are arguing a stereotype with a stereotype. That approach usually doesn't work very well as you may eventually learn.

Life and people are not that simple.

What is it about this joke that bothers you and why? Why make an issue of it here? What will that accomplish?

and what is the point of this?

Do you have proof to back that up? If it is true then what does it mean? What then?

QUOTE
nobody needs an automatic weapon

If so, then why do body guards for Ted Kennedy and other anti-gun liberals need them?

Is it "nobody" or just certain people (like republican religious rednecks)?

A "Veteran" - whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to, and including their life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact.

This is my favorite gun control video:

The only gun control that is needed, is being able to hit what you are aiming at!

King,

Do we need vehicle control? How about motorcycle control? What about kitchen utensils? Baseball bats? Golf clubs? Are you going to ban making a fist? Where dose it end. Nearly everything in our daily lives can kill you. But, nothing can kill you by it's self. It all takes someone to run or handle it. I am personally capable of dispatching you with any number of items. None of them would be considered any type of dangerous. It's all in the user.

Only one person is at fault in that incident. The father!

Guns do nothing. Only the person behind the gun.

I'm not blaming you for the education system, and yet you are living proof that it is failing.

An armed man is a citizen.
An unarmed man is a subject.

I'll quit now before I get more upset.

Would you rather be alive or free? A citizen or a subject?
Given the current state of the nation, it would seem that one day we will have to make that decision. Which will you choose to be, a free citizen or a live subject.

Tree, I agree with you 100%. I warry more about a drunk driver running in to me than some wakco with a gun. I think "IMO" the only reason we have not been invaded by another county is because of the 2nd amendment. They all know that there is probable at least 1 gun in 90% of the home in the US. I realy think if this county is ever invaded, the Good ol Boys and the Rednecks like a lot of us will raise more Hell for the invader that the military. "IMO" the only gun control we need is more education. I know I tought my 3 boys that if you shoot it you better be willing to take it home and eat it. In the words of Ted Nugent, "Gun Control Is Hitting What You Are Shooting At"

At the beginning of WW II, the Japanese leader was asked if he would invade the United States. His reply was NO. Because behind every blade of grass there is a gun.

Education is the key. NO, NO is not teaching your children about guns.

In PA, we had to take a hunters safety course to get our hunting license. If you lost it, or a previous years license, you could not even get a hunting license until you were 21.

I have several weapons in my home. I am personally responsible for each and every one. From the pocket knife to the rifles.

Personal responsibility is were this lies. I don't need the government telling me that the 2nd Amendment doesn't apply to me.

I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Like the lady said in the first video. The safety of my family means more to me than my own life. I also believe she has a CCW and the place of business didn't allow guns inside. She had left hers in her vehicle while they went in for lunch.

I'd rather be a redneck any day. I will never be a subject. I will not allow myself to become a victim. If you come to me in aggression there are three ways you will leave. You can walk away and leave it alone, in an ambulance, or with the Coroner. The choice is yours.

Now I just need to trade my wife in on a younger, better looking, filthy rich, dirty girl, redneck woman!

Later,

Steve

All this, because I posted a joke... blush.gif All I wanted to do was make someone laugh or smile that day.

Thanks for moving it to LIR Political. I guess some people can't laugh at themselves, or anyone else for that matter. How sad.
