Wow that's insane, that cage should hold up to a much higher speed rollover than that. Hopefully you guy's are ok and able to sue the pants off them, i know that won't reverse anything, but maybe it'll make them fix the problem..

Gosh! hope you and the wife recover soon. I hope you take full responsibility for your actions that caused the rollover as these do not roll on nthere own,and not do like John Sand has done.

In my opinion it really dont matter what they were doing at the time of the rollover. If the truth of the speed was 5mph if dont matter if it was on its roof at that speed it should have held up.

According to what I've read else where he says he did a front Endo. Depending on the conditions that could be a pretty hard hit even going slow.

I'm guessing going down a hill and the front tires stuck and over the machine came.

Even at 5mph, if you endo a machine, and maybe we have a physics student around here somewhere, you'd have to add the weight of the machine, factor in the velocity and any variables such as incline that would affect the force of the impact and what started as a simple 5mph crash would turn very nasty very fast.

From the looks of that cage, it looks like a pretty hard hit.

If you hear me say "ya'll watch this!" Please shoot me.

We have a Polaris HD side by side with orginial roll cage and I'm very interested in this. Since my husband and son do a lot of fabricating and welding, it may get re-enforced. I take it your okay now and I'm certainly glad, this may be a dumb question but did you get hurt bad and if not for what the roll cage did do would you have gotten hurt worse?
