All week I have been getting E-mails. She is still excited about the ride. So this morning I get another E-mail with a craigslist link to a 2008 800 sportsman with only 14 hours run time. The poor guy is going thru a divorce and has to sell his quad. Red in color, nice tires pretty sharp. Cheap. So I’m thinking maybe I should encourage her to get this quad. I have a 2005 600 sportsman, blue in color, runs good except with a little problem with the carb. Not real noticeable.
Now follow me here. The nice guy that I am. She could drop the quad off at my place. I know she will be gone for at least a week giving me time to look it over real good. Maybe..... swap the plastic around, exchange the tires, wheels and accessories around. Heck I would even wash and wax the machine for her. I could end up with a blue 800, something I always wanted. She would have a red........ sportsman. Something that she has just purchased, except that the carb may need to be rebuilt. But you have to expect this when you buy a use machine. Right..............
Now, I haven’t really thought this all the way through. But I think I can pull it off. What do you all think. Is it possible to exchange all the needed components to make this work..................
Now, where's that phone #. I got to give the girl a little encouragement.................
